lyrics

I got attention deficit disorder
That means my mind has no borders
People are wondering if I’m struggling
But my brain’s just out of order
I got attention deficit disorder
I think faster than a four door
People say that I’m out of place
But I’m the only one who’s in order

I still remember the day the doctor told me
And my parents, “Your son has A.D.D.”
So he wrote me a perscription to keep me sitting
In class like a good boy, I’m not kidding
No more spacing out, staring at the wall
No more thinking about nothing but school at all
I have to get through the day with the help of a doctor
Cause it’s a fucking crime if my mind starts to wander
So I’ll ponder it, sauntering
Like a cool kid, but I’m unbalanced, teeter tottering
But I guess I’m just another one
Who ADD has claimed victim
So I’ll take my Focalin and try to behave
Cause everyone says my mind needs to be saved
So if I listen to what they’re all saying
I don’t have a disorder, I’m just insane

I got attention deficit disorder
That just means my mind has no borders
People are wondering if I’m struggling
But my brain’s just out of order
I got attention deficit disorder
I think faster than a four door
People say that I’m out of place
But I’m the only one who’s in order

People tell me, it’s the most diagnosed
Disease of all time, and I’m just a dope
Who smokes too much dope and I got no hope
For the future cause my brain’s too damn slow
But on the contrary, my brain’s so fast
That without my meds I probably would have crashed
A long time ago, but I’m still here and focusing
On writing raps and making beats thanks to my friend Focalin
So I won’t let shiny things get in my way
Of making my music and trying to reach fame
Cause I’m focused on the top instead of looking around
And I’m staring at the sky, telling myself to not look down
At the ground, cause I don’t wanna see the littered corpses
Of people who fell while trying to make money recording
And I consider my disorder a blessing not a curse
Because I know there are tons of people off a lot worse
